My inspiration for this piece was mixing predator and prey. I created it the way I did because I thought it would be easier trying to incorporate a zebra's stripes on a cougar then trying to move parts of the cougar over to the zebra. The problems I came across were mostly trying to get the stripes to line up on the cougars body. The other problem was trying to find a spot to put the zebra's mane on the cougar.
If I were to do this project again I would pick a different animal to be the prey (maybe a tiger). It would be much easier to find an animal that already had stripes, that way it would be easier to blend the two animals together. I would also try to find more ways to incorporate the zebra and cougar, and find a way to blend the stripes and mane in better. I would also change the zebra to an animal that didn't have as many patterns.
