Angry Pancakes
When learning basic Photoshop skills, we had to make a pancake with jaws. First I had to open up the pancakes in the middle so I could have room to put the jaws. I did this by using the liquify tool. When I had enough room I cut out the jaws from the fish I got them from using the polygonal lasso tool. I had to lower the opacity of the jaws when aligning them with the pancake, so I knew if they were going to fit or not.. After aligning them I used the eraser to soften the edges of the fish jaw to make it look like it was an actual part of the pancakes. Then I change the hue and saturation so it looked even more realistic.
Apple Reflections
The second day of learning how to use photoshop I had to create a reflection for the apples. I deleted the background using the magic wand tool, and deleted the small parts of the shadow I didn't need with the quick selection tool. I then duplicated the layer with the apple and used transform so I could have apples right side up and apples that were upside down. I then used the gradient tool in white to make it look like the apples that were upside down were fading. I then finished by adding a gray gradient at the very bottom.
